"Sausage" and Cabbage Dinner
I didn't set out to "fool" your taste buds, but I think I'll succeed with this sizzling skillet supper. Instead of mixing in high-fat sausage meat, I've mimicked those flavors so believably, your family will be more then convinced you're serving the real thing!
Serves 4 (1 full cup)
8oz ground turkey or beef (90% lean)
1 teaspoon JO's Sausage Seasoning Mix
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 (10 3/4 oz) can Campbell's Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom soup
2 cups cooked noodles
In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown meat. Stir in JO's Sausage Seasoning Mix, onion and cabbage. Continue cooking until cabbage is tender and lightly browned, stirring often. Add soup and noodles. Mix well to combine. Continue cooking until mixture is heated through.
Each serving equals:
HE: 1 3/4 Vegetable, 1 1/2 Protein, 1 Bread, 1/2 Slider, 1 Optional Calorie
